Konichiwa from Japan

Hello friends!

We arrived safely in Japan on the 26th after a rather long flight. After a couple of hours on train we found some of the Japanese Campus Crusade team and they helped us find our apartments. We have been training and traveling to 6 different campuses in the Tokyo area this past week. The two that I am focusing on are Todai (Tokyo Daigaku) and Toyo (University of Tokyo). Todai is Japan's best university and it is slightly overwhelming.

I have met several students that are very cool. Amari, Motoki, Yuji, Komei, and Masayuki are all students that I have been blessed to talk with. Hopefully today I will be able to see a few of them at Todai. My team is experiencing difficulty after difficulty but the Lord continues to overcome and he continues to be glorified.

Please pray for guarded eyes and hearts for my team. Also, please continue to pray for these Japanese students. (Nihon gakusei)

Oh...and if you ever find yourself filled with too much joy, cans of Depresso are sold at all of the local 7 Eleven's.

Hello : From Atlanta

Countdown to L.A. is T minus 82 hours and 10 minutes.

I'm getting excited for SURE! These past couple of days I have basically been rounding up the couple of items I'll need like d'dorant, s'poo, t'paste, t'brush, OH!!! and a camera so I can show all of you Japan and other Japanese things like Okonomiyaki and udon. And Toyota and Honda and Mitsubishi! (only kidding...you see enough of that here)

It's time to go read. As of now I'm in the middle of Acts. I am continuing to pray Acts 2 (the fellowship of the believers) over my groups of friends. Why not be caught up in the greatness of God all the time?

Give thanks to the Lord for he is good. His love endures forever! That's cool. The only unconditional love.
