Good Thing! E-Mail Update*

"Wow!" : This is a very good word to use for attempting to describe
this past week in one word.

(Funny Note)
We have been here in Japan for over two weeks doing ministry on 6
college campuses. I personally am doing ministry on two campuses:
Todai and Toyo. Todai is "The Harvard of Japan." It's great! I bought
a Todai shirt (Written in Japanese of course!) and everyone that sees
me wearing it thinks that I'm a genius. I typically consider the
assessment correct....ha....Actually, the truth is a Todai student who
consulted me on an English essay that he was having trouble with ended
up stumping me in my native tongue!! Eek! That's a humbling feeling!

(Ministry On Campus)
Ok, so for a ministry update. "Wow" was chosen because of what the
Lord did this past week. We started our first 6 days on campus feeling
drained and slightly discouraged. Then, on Tuesday morning after a
prayer meeting I was thinking about soil. Yes, soil. The "soil" that
seeds either grow or can't grow in. I felt like the seeds that my team
and I had been planting were being planted in the later of those soil
choices. ...So, when a farmer wants better soil what does he need?
Rain! (or at least that's what I figured) I then prayed for rain. The
kind of rain that softens the soil of people's hearts. . .follow me
now. An hour later the sky was clear but after a half hour on the
train going to Todai the quick accumulation of storm clouds began to
saturate Tokyo with BEAUTIFUL RAIN....Two hours later two new
believers entered the Kingdom of God. The next day again produced two
more new believers. The Lord softened the hearts of 4 Japanese
students. He Reigns!

(Issues...but not really)
Our team has experienced an onslaught of spiritual warfare. Many many
nightmares and other evil. Fortunately, our God is so much more
powerful than Satan's sleazy attempts at scaring the children of the
King out of Japan.

(Prayer Requests)
-He would continue to unite and strengthen my team
-He would ROCK Tokyo! Show the people how they "need to need Him"
-Against bad dreams (For us here in Tokyo and the team in Russia)
-That the new believers here would start growing strong
